Jeanne Moderno was created by Steve Mehallo, born in San Francisco, California, in 1967. He had many accomplishments, including graphic design, font design and was an educator at UC Davis, Santa Clara University and many other recognized institutions. He drew inspiration in the creation of Jeanne Moderno from 20th-century modernists, including futurists, dadaists, suprematists and constructivists. This time era was considered when designing this presentation and these elements. I was inspired by the claw foot bathtub, a house fitting that was very popular in this era. I did not want to represent it literally, so I used the splash and tap as imagery instead.
